The ideal candidate is technically proficient – able to analyze large, diverse data sets, build self-service analytics tools and visualizations, and conduct deep analysis with actionable insights. Additionally, this individual is a highly effective collaborator across technology and business domains, a clear written and verbal communicator, and brings a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality impactful results. Lastly, this individual brings experience with AI and its applications for analytics.
What You'll Do
- Lead insights generation by delivering analyses that use data to tell a story and offer recommendations to improve business performance.
- Define and develop new KPIs and analytics frameworks to measure success and monitor progress against strategic business goals.
- Build user-friendly reporting and dashboards for both internal and external customers.
- Assess the data needs of the business and partner with technical teams to deliver proof of concepts and conduct QA/UAT on new data sources.
- Create and continuously improve documentation and training materials.
- 4+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics, Supply Chain, Finance or a related degree with quantitative and analytical emphasis.
- Demonstrable experience building and delivering self-service analytics tooling and in-depth analyses with quantifiable business impact.
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Tableau (or equivalent BI tool), and Excel. Python experience is a bonus.
- Experience with e-commerce, omni-channel, or retail data (catalog, promotions, clickstream, fulfillment, customer feedback, etc.) and thorough understanding of business performance indicators and financial P&L.
- Experience applying advanced analytics concepts (experiment design, A/B testing, statistics, etc.) to evaluate and improve business performance.
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and communication across an organization.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
