The Data Analyst, Customer Lifecycle Reporting owns performance reporting for the customer-facing functions in the Service organization. This role turns defined performance metrics into live Power BI reporting and, where an underlying data source does not yet exist, partners with the owning function to establish the instrumentation required to make the metric reportable. All work is built against a shared, reusable Power BI semantic model rather than one-off reports, so that each metric added lowers the cost of the next.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and executive scorecards for the Customer Lifecycle metric portfolio, built against the team's shared semantic model.
  • Create and maintain a prioritized delivery roadmap, sequencing work by executive value, data readiness, and implementation effort.
  • Develop SQL queries and data models supporting operational reporting for assigned metrics.
  • Where a metric lacks an existing data source, partner with the relevant business and data owners to define and stand up the instrumentation needed to capture it — this is data-engineering-adjacent coordination work, not pure reporting.
  • Support formal validation and sign-off of metric definitions and data sources as they move from draft to certified status.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across assigned reporting.
  • Partner with functional leaders — the Head of Implementation (Client Activation) and the Head of Service (Customer Engagement, Customer Enablement, Customer Growth) — and report through to the COO on prioritization, to translate metrics into actionable insight.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve reporting, analysis, and automation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or operations reporting (mid-level role — this work requires navigating undefined data sources and cross-functional coordination, not just building against clean data).
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, semantic models) and SQL.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to define metrics and resolve data-quality or data-availability gaps.
  • Comfort operating inside a formal metric governance process (definitions, validation, sign-off) rather than ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — this role will regularly present preliminary, not-yet-certified numbers across multiple functional leaders and needs to represent that distinction accurately.
