This is a role for someone who enjoys making data dependable and useful, not just producing dashboards.

You'll work with established eCommerce brands to build measurement foundations people can trust, turn performance data into clear commercial insight and solve complex tracking problems. Alongside specialists in CRO, SEO and Paid Media, you'll help clients understand what's happening, why it matters and what to do next.

You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, challenge assumptions and take ownership of client outcomes, not simply complete tracking tickets or compile reports.

Why join Proof3?

This isn't an agency where analytics ends with a monthly report.

You'll work across ambitious eCommerce brands, supported by specialists in CRO, SEO and Paid Media who actively use your work to improve performance rather than simply describe it.

You'll be trusted to shape measurement strategy, challenge clients constructively and focus on the data that matters: the data that improves decisions, customer experience and profitable growth.

You'll have variety without being treated as a reporting resource for everyone else. If you enjoy solving difficult problems, explaining them clearly and seeing your work influence what happens next, you'll fit right in.

How we approach data

At Proof3, we don't see data as a collection of dashboards, tags and platform metrics.

We combine sound measurement, careful implementation and commercial analysis to help clients make better decisions. Sometimes that means fixing a broken purchase event. Sometimes it means joining data from different sources. Sometimes it means showing that the apparent problem sits elsewhere.

Our approach starts with the business question and the decisions the data needs to support, not with a preferred tool or a standard reporting template.

We are clear about data quality and limitations, and we turn findings into practical recommendations. We measure success by the confidence and commercial impact our work creates, not the volume of reports we produce.

What you'll be doing

  • Own digital analytics and measurement across a portfolio of multi-million pound eCommerce clients, ensuring data is accurate, reliable and supports commercial decision-making.
  • Support CRO, SEO and Paid Media teams with robust measurement, focused analysis and actionable insights that improve client performance.
  • Translate business objectives into practical measurement strategies, including KPIs, event taxonomies, tracking requirements and implementation plans.
  • Configure, maintain and troubleshoot GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including ecommerce tracking, custom events, cross-domain measurement and platform integrations.
  • Audit analytics, tag management and conversion tracking implementations, working with developers to resolve issues and maintain data quality.
  • Validate paid media tracking, consent management and privacy-related measurement across relevant advertising platforms.
  • Lead measurement migrations and replatforming projects from discovery through to implementation, QA and post-launch validation.
  • Build reporting dashboards and analyse customer behaviour, acquisition performance and commercial metrics to uncover meaningful opportunities rather than simply reporting results.
  • Present findings and recommendations confidently to clients, adapting technical detail to suit both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Deliver data enrichment projects that improve reporting, analysis and marketing activation, while maintaining clear documentation, governance and implementation standards.
  • Stay ahead of developments in analytics, privacy, AI and ecommerce measurement, applying new approaches where they'll deliver genuine value.

What you'll bring

  • 2+ years' experience in digital analytics, web analytics or measurement implementation, ideally within eCommerce.
  • Expert, hands-on knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager, with the ability to build, audit, troubleshoot and optimise analytics implementations.
  • Strong experience implementing and validating ecommerce tracking, conversion measurement and revenue attribution across digital platforms.
  • Experience creating measurement plans, event taxonomies, data layer specifications and clear technical documentation.
  • Confident building reports and dashboards using Looker Studio or similar, with the ability to turn data into clear, commercially relevant insights.
  • Good understanding of consent management, data governance and privacy-aware measurement.
  • Comfortable working with developers to investigate tracking issues and deliver robust measurement implementations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify meaningful opportunities from customer, acquisition and performance data.
  • Confident communicator who can explain technical concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive, organised and accountable - you take ownership of outcomes while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Bonus points

  • Experience using BigQuery, SQL or similar to analyse, validate or enrich data.
  • Experience with server-side measurement, including server-side tagging or the Meta Conversions API.
  • Experience integrating and activating first-party customer data through APIs, CRM platforms or other marketing technologies.

Perks of the job

  • Competitive salary and career progression
  • 30 days holiday (inclusive of public holidays)
  • Flexible working arrangements including remote working
  • Company pension scheme
  • Private healthcare
  • Bonus incentive scheme
  • Childcare and eye care vouchers
  • Regular appraisals and personal development plans
  • Events and conferences attendance actively encouraged
