Are you an analytical, data-driven professional with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for turning complex information into meaningful insight? We are seeking a Performance Analyst β Op Beaconport to join our Performance & Insight Team at Nottinghamshire Police.
π What you'll do
- Conduct strategic, tactical and operational analysis to support performance and prevention priorities.
- Produce analytical products, reports and dashboards that inform decision-making and resource allocation.
- Develop business intelligence solutions using data visualisation and analytical tools.
- Analyse complex performance, crime and prevention data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Support senior leaders with evidence-based recommendations to improve organisational performance.
- Provide analytical insight to support inspections, performance frameworks and prevention strategies.
- Present findings through reports, briefings and presentations to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with partners and policing colleagues to improve data quality and performance outcomes.
π‘ What Weβre Looking For
- Experience analysing and interpreting large and complex data sets.
- Strong knowledge of analytical tools and systems, including Excel, SQL, Power BI or similar platforms.
- Experience creating reports, dashboards and performance products.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly through written reports and presentations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of data governance, GDPR and information management principles.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making through evidence-based insight.
