Are you an analytical, data-driven professional with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for turning complex information into meaningful insight? We are seeking a Performance Analyst – Op Beaconport to join our Performance & Insight Team at Nottinghamshire Police.


πŸš€ What you'll do

  • Conduct strategic, tactical and operational analysis to support performance and prevention priorities.
  • Produce analytical products, reports and dashboards that inform decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Develop business intelligence solutions using data visualisation and analytical tools.
  • Analyse complex performance, crime and prevention data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Support senior leaders with evidence-based recommendations to improve organisational performance.
  • Provide analytical insight to support inspections, performance frameworks and prevention strategies.
  • Present findings through reports, briefings and presentations to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with partners and policing colleagues to improve data quality and performance outcomes.


πŸ’‘ What We’re Looking For

  • Experience analysing and interpreting large and complex data sets.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical tools and systems, including Excel, SQL, Power BI or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards and performance products.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly through written reports and presentations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of data governance, GDPR and information management principles.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making through evidence-based insight.
