This person will partner closely with procurement leadership, vendors, category teams, finance, and business stakeholders to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations that drive action.

The role sits at the intersection of analytics, marketing procurement, and procurement strategy, balancing hands-on analytical execution with strategic thinking and stakeholder influence in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement analytics initiatives that inform category strategy, sourcing decisions, and supplier management.
  • Translate complex spend, supplier, market, and operational data into actionable, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with category leaders, finance, and business stakeholders to define analytics priorities, success metrics, and value-tracking methodologies.
  • Conduct advanced spend analysis, demand analysis, and supplier performance analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs.
  • Design and deliver dashboards, reporting, and analytical tools that improve transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Own analytical projects from problem definition through analysis, insight generation, storytelling, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Leverage internal data and external market research to inform category strategies, should-cost models, and negotiation approaches.
  • Support marketing procurement initiatives across areas such as media buying, publishers, promotions, and other marketing-related spend categories.
  • Influence senior stakeholders by framing analytical insights within a broader business context and driving alignment around actions and decisions.
  • Prepare presentations, decks, analysis, and communications for leadership audiences.
  • Champion continuous improvement in procurement analytics capabilities, methodologies, and governance.
  • Manage multiple initiatives and stakeholder priorities while maintaining a high level of analytical rigor and execution.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on analytical work.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain analytics, finance analytics, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and influence senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including advanced Excel and experience with BI and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple analytical initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience supporting strategic sourcing, category management, or supplier performance management.
  • Experience specifically supporting marketing procurement or marketing-related spend categories, such as media, publishers, promotions, advertising, or marketing services.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and curious mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and evolving procurement capabilities.
  • Ability to connect analytics to business strategy and clearly communicate the "story" behind the data.
