About the Opportunity
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join a growing healthcare analytics team. This is a highly visible, strategic role responsible for transforming complex healthcare data into meaningful insights that improve patient outcomes, clinical operations, and organizational decision-making.
As a trusted analytics partner, you will collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong healthcare data expertise with advanced technical skills in SQL, Epic reporting environments, and Power BI.

What You'll Do
- Partner with business, clinical, and operational stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions.
- Build and optimize SQL queries, data models, and semantic layers to support reporting initiatives.
- Develop scalable data preparation models and reporting frameworks.
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable analytics solutions.
- Support data governance, reporting standardization, and best practices across the organization.
- Manage small to medium-sized analytics projects from requirements gathering through implementation.
- Deliver insights that support clinical quality initiatives, operational performance, and strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Clinical Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Healthcare Analytics, or a related analytics role.
- 4+ years of hands-on SQL development experience working with relational databases.
- Strong experience developing semantic layers and data preparation models.
- Experience gathering requirements, documenting solutions, and managing projects.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and star schema data structures.
- Advanced experience with Power BI.
- Ability to obtain Epic Clarity, Caboodle, and Cogito certifications within six months of hire (fully funded by the organization).
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic certifications such as Clarity, Cogito, Caboodle, Radar, or Reporting Workbench (RWB).
- Experience working with clinical or healthcare data environments.
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Prior experience supporting healthcare systems, providers, or payer organizations.
