Job title: Senior Web Analyst

Office location: Spanskih boraca, Belgrade - Hybrid working (3 days in the office)


About the role and the Team:


The Senior Web Analyst will serve as Hyperoptic's lead digital analytics expert, accountable for measurement strategy, insight generation and analytics best practice across web and app channels. Combining deep expertise in GA4, GTM, BigQuery and digital measurement with strong commercial awareness, the role will ensure trusted data, drive strategic recommendations and influence decisions at senior leadership level. Working across Commercial, Product, Marketing, Digital and Technology teams, the Senior Web Analyst will proactively identify opportunities to improve acquisition, conversion, customer experience and business performance.


What will you be doing?


Analytics Leadership, Measurement Strategy & Data Governance


• Own the end-to-end digital measurement framework for websites, apps and key customer journeys

• Define and govern GA4, GTM and tracking standards across the organization

• Lead complex analytics implementations and ensure data quality, scalability and compliance

• Oversee BigQuery integration, data models and digital analytics architecture

• Act as the senior point of escalation for measurement and tracking challenges


Strategic Insights, Performance & Decision Support


• Deliver proactive insight generation focused on acquisition, conversion, retention and customer behavior

• Translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for senior leadership

• Identify commercial opportunities and quantify business impact

• Develop executive dashboards and performance reporting frameworks

• Lead deep-dive analyses that influence strategic priorities and investment decisions


Stakeholder Management, Experimentation & Cross-Functional Leadership


• Partner with Product, Marketing, Commercial, and Technology teams to embed data-driven decision making

• Lead analytics requirements for major digital initiatives and platform changes

• Support experimentation and A/B testing Programmes, ensuring robust measurement and evaluation

• Mentor colleagues on analytics best practices and self-service insight consumption

• Continuously evaluate emerging analytics capabilities and recommend improvements


What we are looking for:


  • Bachelor's degree (Data Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science) or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including setup, configuration, custom events, implementation, and debugging
  • Proficiency in SQL and BigQuery, with experience manipulating data and creating reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio
  • Solid understanding of UTM tagging, campaign tracking, and experience integrating GA4 with CRM, advertising platforms and marketing tools
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills, with strong Excel and presentation capabilities and the ability to turn data into actionable business insights
  • Experience in data-rich environments, such as digital, telecoms, subscription, or e-commerce businesses, with familiarity with A/B testing and advanced analytics considered a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and governance, combined with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting insights to senior leadership, with fluent written and spoken English
  • Relevant Google Analytics certification, Google Tag Manager and/or BigQuery certifications are an advantage
