Assistant Manager - Business Analyst - Southeast Asia (Based in Bangkok)

DP World is expanding its Global Freight business across Southeast Asia, and we are looking for an Assistant Manager – Business Analyst to provide the data, reporting and analytical backbone behind how the sub-region measures and improves performance.


You will turn data from multiple countries and functions into clear, decision-ready insight that regional and country leadership rely on to steer performance. This is a high-visibility role for an analyst who wants their work to shape the decisions that drive a growing regional business.



Key Accountabilities

  • Consolidate performance data from country and functional sources into a single, reliable dataset for Global Freight Southeast Asia reporting.
  • Produce recurring performance packs for regional and country leadership reviews, applying consistent definitions, reporting calendars and version control.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that make volume, revenue, margin and cost KPIs visible and accessible to business and functional leaders.
  • Monitor KPI performance against targets, identify variances and trends, and prepare the supporting analysis explaining what changed and why.
  • Track strategic initiatives and projects across milestones, owners and deliverables, flagging risks and delays early.
  • Partner with Finance, Commercial, Operations and country data owners to resolve data-quality gaps and align on source-of-truth definitions.
  • Standardise and automate recurring reporting so that outputs are repeatable, auditable and require minimal manual rework.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and briefing material to support business cases, performance interventions and strategic decision-making.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
  • 4–6 years of experience in business analysis, performance reporting or commercial/operational analytics, preferably within freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including complex data modelling, and strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills for preparing leadership reporting packs.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Query and Power BI will be given strong consideration.
  • Demonstrated ability to consolidate data from multiple sources, resolve data quality issues, and establish repeatable reporting processes.
  • Experience supporting project or initiative tracking, including milestone monitoring and status reporting.
  • Business fluency in English and Thai language capability are desi.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insight for senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple countries and functions in a matrixed regional environment.
