Senior Engineer - Data Analyst

Responsibilities/ Job Description:

• Understand business requirements and translate them into appropriate technical and data solutions.
• Develop, maintain and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts, procedures and database objects.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and data extracts according to business needs.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability and performance.
• Analyze data and provide relevant insights to support business decision-making.
• Contribute to data models, processes, technical standards and documentation
• Collaborate with business users, developers, infrastructure teams and other stakeholders.
• Participate in testing, deployment, support and maintenance activities.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
• Participate in local and international initiatives related to data, reporting and information systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

Language skills:

• Good command in English is a must

Experience and Skills Required:

• At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, database development, Business Intelligence or a similar position.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand complex business and technical environments.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently as well as within an international team.
• Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a demanding environment.
