A growing organisation is seeking a Data Analyst to support enterprise-wide reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. This role will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to transform business requirements into actionable insights, scalable reporting solutions, and data-driven decision making.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills with business acumen, helping stakeholders understand performance trends, optimise reporting processes, and improve data accessibility across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytics solutions for multiple business functions.
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
- Write and optimise SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and data validation efforts.
- Build and maintain dashboards and visualisations using business intelligence tools.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Support data governance, data access, and reporting infrastructure initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical teams on data pipelines, integrations, and data quality processes.
- Contribute production-ready code and analytical solutions that support long-term scalability.
- Assist with financial, operational, compliance, and workforce-related reporting needs.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and perform data analysis.
- Experience with Tableau or a comparable data visualisation platform.
- Experience working with Databricks or similar cloud-based analytics environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Experience translating business challenges into end-to-end reporting or analytics solutions.
- Experience with dbt.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Educational background from a recognised academic programme or institution.
