Health Informatics Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

We're looking for experienced Health Informatics Analysts to apply their clinical data expertise to one of the most impactful frontiers in technology — AI development. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research teams to build smarter, more accurate models. Your deep knowledge of healthcare systems, EHR data, and clinical workflows will directly shape how AI understands and reasons about the healthcare domain.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — work on your schedule, on your terms.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Analyze and interpret healthcare and EHR data to evaluate the accuracy and quality of AI-generated outputs in clinical and operational contexts
  • Review AI responses related to health information systems, clinical workflows, and healthcare data management — flagging errors, inconsistencies, or gaps in reasoning
  • Apply your expertise in data pipelines, reporting tools, and health IT systems to assess how well AI handles complex informatics tasks
  • Prepare structured feedback and evaluations to guide AI model improvements
  • Collaborate asynchronously with a global team of domain experts and AI researchers

Who You Are

  • Experienced with healthcare data, EHR systems, or clinical reporting platforms (Epic, Cerner, HL7, FHIR, etc.)
  • Strong analytical thinker with hands-on experience in data visualization, trend analysis, or clinical reporting
  • Able to communicate complex technical findings clearly and concisely in writing
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own workflow
  • Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and data quality

Nice to Have

  • Background in data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems
  • Experience collaborating across clinical, IT, and operational teams
  • Familiarity with AI tools, large language models, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in health informatics, clinical data science, or a related field

Why Join Us

  • Work at the cutting edge of AI — your healthcare expertise directly influences how next-generation models are built
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with meaningful, intellectually stimulating work
  • Collaborate with a global network of domain experts and top AI research labs
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
