Data Administrator

Salary: R29 000 - R32 000 per month Remote Recruitment is hiring a Data Administrator for a UK employer, fully remote from South Africa. Role overview You will keep a UK company’s data accurate and usable, cleaning records, running checks and producing the reports the business actually relies on. It suits someone precise who finds satisfaction in a clean dataset. You will work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) from home, with equipment guidance, a proper induction and a manager who is contactable through the day. This is a permanent role, not a short contract. Key responsibilities - Maintain and update core records with a high accuracy standard - Run regular data quality checks and fix what is wrong - Import, export and reconcile data between systems - Build routine reports for operations and management - Document processes so the work is repeatable - Flag data gaps and suggest practical fixes What you'll need - Two or more years in data administration, data entry or a records role - Strong Excel skills including lookups, filters and pivot tables - Experience maintaining a database or CRM - A careful, methodical approach to accuracy and version control - Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work Nice to have - Exposure to basic SQL - Experience with Google Sheets automation - Familiarity with data protection practice What's on offer A permanent, fully remote role with a UK employer, ownership of the data that the business runs on, and scope to grow towards analysis work.
