Data Analyst

Position Overview

The role focuses on data analysis, statistical analysis, data management, reporting, and database support. You will work with large and complex datasets, identify trends and data-quality issues, develop reports/visualizations, and provide analytical and technical support to business stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, data systems, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL
• Experience with SAS and R
• Strong Tableau experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working with databases, queries, and data-management systems
• Experience analyzing large/complex datasets and identifying trends
• Knowledge of data quality, validation, consistency, and completeness
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, graphs, and statistical narratives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with internal/external stakeholders and provide technical assistance
• Experience gathering requirements and developing functional/technical specifications is a plus
• Experience with FOCUS, OnBase, Visio, healthcare/public health, or government data systems is highly desirable

• Performing quantitative and qualitative data analysis
• Developing and maintaining data systems and queries
• Identifying data inconsistencies, quality issues, and trends
• Creating reports, dashboards, graphs, and longitudinal analyses
• Supporting data-driven policy and business decisions
• Providing technical support to database end users
• Working with business partners and stakeholders to define analytical requirements
