Our client is a well-established financial services firm based in Midtown Manhattan managing tens of billions in assets. They focus on specialized investment products and operate with a lean, data-driven approach where analytics directly impacts commercial decisions and product growth.

Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Midtown NYC (Hybrid - 4 days onsite)

Compensation: $130,000 - $140,000 + performance bonus

The Role

This Data Analyst position will focus on analyzing product performance, market trends, and client distribution data. Working closely with business leaders and internal teams, you’ll be responsible for pulling complex datasets, building reports, and surfacing actionable insights that drive business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze product performance metrics, market data, and business trends.
• Build and maintain clean, interactive dashboards (Tableau or Power BI) for business leaders.
• Write SQL queries to extract, blend, and analyze structured datasets from multiple systems.
• Partner with internal teams to evaluate growth opportunities and support decision-making.
• Maintain data integrity and consistency across core business reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data analysis experience, ideally in financial services or asset management.
• Strong hands-on SQL experience.
• Proficiency with BI Tools. Ex. Tableau or Power BI.
• Comfortable working with complex financial datasets.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field.
