Data Analyst

Data Analysis and Insight Generation:

Analyze large and complex data sets to extract actionable insights related to pricing, claims management, customer behavior, and overall business performance.

Identify data-driven trends, patterns, and correlations that support strategic decision-making across the insurance value chain.

Data Modeling And Analytics Infrastructure

Build and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data models to support actuarial pricing, financial forecasting, and operational analytics.

Enhance existing models and reporting systems to improve accuracy, usability, and automation.

Business Intelligence Reporting

Design and maintain regular dashboards and business reports that highlight key financial, operational, and customer metrics.

Provide ongoing data-driven commentary and insights to explain trends and anomalies, supporting timely business decisions.

Data Visualization And Storytelling

Develop visually compelling and interactive dashboards and presentations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).

Translate complex analytical outputs into clear and impactful visual stories for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Data Governance And Quality Assurance

Promote a culture of strong data governance by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data used across the business.

Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with IT and data engineering teams.

Stakeholder Engagement

Actively collaborate with teams such as Business Development, Product Development, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and IT to support cross-functional analytics initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree / 4-Year Course Graduate

At least 1-2 years of experience

Proficient in Excel, SQL, and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling

Experienced in data visualization using tools

Strong interest in InsurTech and data analytics, with a passion for innovation in the insurance industry.

Familiarity with the local insurance product landscape and experience across multiple lines of business is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide technical insights

Ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams, while being proactive in a fast-paced work environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying results and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
