Associate to Risk Assurance

At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls. In digital assurance at PwC, you will focus on providing assurance services over clients' digital environment, including processes and controls, cyber security measures, data and AI systems, and their associated governance, to help organisations and their stakeholders build trust in their technology while complying with relevant regulations.

Role And Responsibilities

• Technical IT controls reviews, including database, operating system, data warehouse and reporting tools. Business processes controls reviews.
• Assisting clients in optimizing their risk and internal control activities, including control effectiveness and optimization activities.
• Documenting the work performed and submitting it for the supervisor’s review within the established deadline.
• Maintaining good client relationships and participating in client meetings and negotiations.

Knowledge And Skills Required

• Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or business related field with GPA at least 3.0
• Strong command of spoken and written Russian and English (ability to express your thoughts clearly in Kazakh language is an asset).
• Proficient PC knowledge, Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Strong analytical and good problem structuring skills.
• Willingness to undertake new and challenging tasks.
• Willingness to travel, work overtime and under tough deadlines.
• Strong communication and team working skills.
• Any relevant experience/background is good but not required.
