This role operates at an advanced level, requiring deep expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy while influencing cross-functional decisions and strategic outcomes. The Senior Demand Planner will own the demand forecasting process, combining statistical modeling with customer, market, and commercial insights to deliver an accurate, actionable demand plan.
Some Of What You Will Do
Demand Planning Leadership
- Own and drive the end-to-end demand planning process, including statistical baseline, demand shaping, and consensus planning
- Develop a scalable, structured demand planning approach aligned to evolving S&OP maturity
- Act as the central owner of the consensus demand plan, ensuring transparency, alignment, and accountability
- Partner with internal analytics resources to design and refine forecasting models
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support business decision making
- Lead continuous improvement of forecast logic, segmentation, and modeling approaches
- Own the demand planning process within our digital platform, including configuration, optimization, and ongoing enhancement
- Drive adoption and discipline across stakeholders
- Leverage advanced analytics and system capabilities to improve forecast accuracy
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to incorporate demand drivers
- Challenge assumptions to ensure a balanced, unbiased forecast
- Translate commercial inputs into structured demand adjustments
- Analyze external market trends, competitive activity, and seasonality
- Evaluate customer behaviors and channel dynamics
- Perform scenario modeling and what-if analysis
- Lead the Demand Review process and support S&OP
- Ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans
- Support executive decision making with fact-based insights
- Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and value add
- Identify root causes of variance and drive improvement
- Establish standard reporting and governance
- Apply deep expertise in demand planning and supply chain to solve complex, ambiguous business challenges
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that impact both tactical execution and longer-term supply chain strategy
- Influence decision-making across Commercial, Finance, and Operations through data-driven insights and clear recommendations
- Establish and evolve demand planning policies, processes, and frameworks to support business growth and scale
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercising strong judgment in balancing competing priorities and inputs
- Build strong internal networks to drive alignment, accountability, and adoption of planning processes
- Serve as a thought partner to leadership on demand, inventory, and service trade-offs
- Recognized as a subject matter expert in demand planning with significant influence across the organization
- Drives initiatives that improve forecast accuracy, working capital efficiency, and service levels
- Leads projects or workstreams with measurable business impact
- Develops new approaches to demand planning, including segmentation, modeling, and scenario analysis
- Impacts both operational execution and strategic planning horizons
- Works independently with minimal oversight while aligning to broader business objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or related field
- APICS certification preferred
- 7–10+ years in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics, with demonstrated progression into more strategic or leadership-oriented responsibilities
- Experience building or evolving demand planning processes and models
- Experience working with commercial stakeholders
- Experience supporting S&OP processes
- Strong analytical and modeling capabilities
- Ability to connect data, market insights, and business context
- Proficiency with forecasting tools and Excel (Power BI a plus)
- Strong communication and influencing skills

Employment Type: Hybrid or consider remote.
Status: Full-time
Salary Range: $105,000-$145,000
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
Bonus: Target annual bonus of 10% of base pay
