We are seeking a SAC-P FP&A Senior Business Analyst to support the Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization and the SAC Planning Center of Excellence (COE). This role will be responsible for supporting FP&A planning and forecasting cycles, managing SAC Planning operations, and ensuring accurate, timely, and synchronized data across SAP and non-SAP systems.
The position combines FP&A process knowledge, SAP Analytics Cloud Planning (SAC-P) expertise, data analysis, and business systems support. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience working with complex planning environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global and regional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support SAC Planning workstreams, ensuring alignment with FP&A planning cycles, business requirements, and timelines.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize SAC planning models, stories, data actions, allocations, and reporting solutions.
- Develop and maintain import and live data connections between SAC and SAP/non-SAP systems.
- Support Workforce, OPEX, and CAPEX planning models and provide insights based on planning data and trends.
- Support monthly and quarterly FP&A planning and forecasting activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Analyze system and data governance reports to identify data quality issues, discrepancies, and synchronization gaps.
- Act as a data steward for SAC-P, supporting data qualification, analysis, creation, modification, and change control activities.
- Manage operational support and tickets, troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions with relevant stakeholders.
- Work with SAP data structures and end-to-end data flows across SAC, Datasphere, SAP BW, HANA, Master Data Management, and ECC environments.
- Support SAC predictive capabilities, including forecasting and augmented analytics, to enhance planning and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions for financial statements and reporting requirements, including Balance Sheets, P&L, Trial Balances, and Tax reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, data quality, system functionality, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with HQ and regional COEs to address challenges, share best practices, and ensure consistent SAC-P processes.
- Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Applications, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, business analysis, or related areas, preferably within large or complex organizations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning (SAC-P), including planning model design, implementation, support, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of FP&A planning and forecasting processes, including monthly and quarterly planning cycles.
- Experience designing and managing data models, stories, data actions, allocations, and reporting within SAC.
- Experience working with SAP and non-SAP data sources, including import and live connections.
- Experience with Workforce, OPEX, and CAPEX planning/modeling is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, SAP HANA, Master Data Management, and SAP ECC.
- Strong understanding of SAP data structures and end-to-end data flows.
- Knowledge of SAC predictive capabilities, forecasting, and augmented analytics.
- Experience with planning and analytical tools, as well as strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English communication skills required (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data governance skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and drive resolution.
- Strong process orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, FP&A professionals, and all levels of management.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned activities, and remain effective through periods of change or uncertainty.
