Job Summary
This individual contributor is primarily responsible for supporting the Contract Language Systems team in document generation, template maintenance, data validation, and system troubleshooting. The position executes complex document production workflows using RLDatix Contraxx, develops automated reporting solutions, and ensures accuracy in contract and benefits documentation across multiple systems.
This role requires strong technical skills in SQL querying, VBA automation, and document production, combined with the ability to collaborate across functional units including business users, IT developers, QA testers, vendors, and leadership stakeholders
Essential Responsibilities

- Develops requirements for complex process or system solutions within assigned business domain(s) by interfacing stakeholders and appropriate IT teams (for example, Solutions Delivery, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture) and leading junior team members in the development process as appropriate.
- Leverages multiple business requirements gathering methodologies to identify business, functional, and non-functional requirements (for example, SMART) across multiple business domains.
- Develops and documents comprehensive business cases to assess the costs, benefits, ROI, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of proposed solutions.
- Provides insight and supports the evolution of applications, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of how current processes impact business operations across multiple domains.
- Maps current state against future state processes.
- Identifies the impact of requirements on upstream and downstream solution components.
- Provides recommendations to management and business stakeholders on how to integrate requirements with current systems and business processes across regions or domains.
- Identifies and validates value gaps and opportunities for process enhancements or efficiencies.
- Supports solution design by providing insight at design sessions with IT teams to help translate requirements into workable business solutions.
- Identifies and recommends additional data and/or services needed to address key business issues related to process or solutions design.
- Participates in evaluating third-party vendors as directed.
- Supports continuous process improvement by participating in the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized tools, templates, and processes across multiple business domains.
- Recommends regional and/or national process improvements which align with sustainable best practices, and the strategic and tactical goals of the business.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field and Minimum six (6) years’ experience in document systems, contract management systems, or a directly related field. Additional equivalent work experience in a directly related field may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
Additional Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience with SQL querying, data validation, and relational database concepts.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience with Microsoft Word advanced document production, including templates, styles, formatting, and metadata management.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience with VBA macro development for Word and/or Excel automation.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience with document generation systems or contract management platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills with ability to trace issues across source data, business rules, templates, and system logs.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret business, regulatory, system, and data requirements and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with regression testing, test scenario development, output comparison, and defect tracking.
- Strong project coordination and change management skills with ability to manage workstreams across functional units.

Technical & Analytical Skills
- Familiarity with XPath for XML node selection, data extraction, and troubleshooting XML-based document-generation logic.
- Understanding of JSON for structured data review, field mapping validation, and API response analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills include template development, formatting, styles, tables, metadata, document structure, redlines, and annotations.
- SQL/Query logic proficiency for data validation, reporting, business rule analysis, data mapping, and query-based automation.
- VBA development for Word and Excel macro automation, template processing, and document formatting.
- Experience with PowerShell/Batch/CMD scripting for file operations, email automation, and desktop automation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RLDatix Contraxx or similar document generation platforms for EOC, Group Agreement, Disclosure Form, and Benefit Summary document generation.
- Experience with Splunk for dashboard filtering, transaction tracing, error-code investigation, and service failure troubleshooting.
- Experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager for business-rule analysis and configuration validation.
- Experience with Python or Java programming coupled with SQL Server database integration (for company MC migration support).
- Knowledge of accessibility testing includes PDF tagging, alt text, title metadata, table structure, and screen-reader considerations
