Skills And Competencies
- 1-3 years of experience analyzing financial statements and financial disclosures
- Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and/or local GAAP accounting standards. Experience with multiple accounting frameworks is considered an advantage
- Advanced understanding of corporate filings and financial reports, including annual reports, 10-K filings, solvency reports, and other regulatory documents
- Hands-on experience extracting, interpreting, and validating financial data and insights from published financial statements
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and other advanced analytical functions. Tableau, Snowflake and Databricks knowledge is desirable
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI Tools and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Analyze and extract financial data, insights, and other relevant information from corporate financial documents
- Review and interpret financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements from annual, interim, and regulatory filings of entities across global markets
- Perform detailed quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial data captured and processed
- Maintain adherence to established productivity and quality standards while meeting defined deadlines
- Support data governance initiatives that enhance the quality, usability, and reliability of Moody’s financial products
- Collaborate effectively with global stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Data Operations leadership to achieve team objectives
- Demonstrate accountability, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset while contributing to operational excellence
