Desktop UI Developer (AI Software)

We are Quadcode, a fintech company excelling in financial brokerage activities and delivering advanced financial products to our global clientele. Our flagship product, an internal trading platform, is offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to other brokers.

Quadcode.ai is an autonomous native AI studio and multi-agent workspace for software development and design.

We are building a desktop AI IDE that combines specialized AI agents with a rich visual development environment. The product brings together code, visual editors, Live Interfaces, repository-wide RAG, and built-in multimedia capabilities for UI/UX, 3D, video, and audio.

Quadcode.ai can also orchestrate Claude Code and Codex CLI sessions through MCP, allowing different AI agents and development workflows to work together within a single desktop application.

The interface is a core part of the product. We are building a complex, highly interactive, and visually rich application with multiple views, editors, panels, dynamic states, real-time updates, animations, graphics, and dynamically generated interfaces.

Some parts of the UI are generated dynamically and currently involve JavaScript, while the core application is built with Python, PySide6, C++.

We are looking for a Desktop UI Developer who enjoys building sophisticated applications and is comfortable working across different technologies to create complex, polished, and highly interactive interfaces.

Tasks

• Develop and evolve the UI of the AI IDE.
• Build complex, interactive UI components, screens, and workflows.
• Turn product and design concepts into polished, production-ready interfaces.
• Work with dynamically generated interfaces and integrate UI components implemented with different technologies.
• Develop custom UI components, interactions, animations, graphics, and visual elements.
• Work with dynamic data, asynchronous operations, real-time updates, and complex application states.
• Keep complex interfaces responsive, performant, and maintainable.
• Contribute to UI architecture and technical decisions.
• Own UI features end-to-end — from implementation and interaction logic to integration, performance, and final visual polish.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, AI engineers, and product/design specialists to integrate the interface with the underlying systems.

• 3+ years of professional experience developing complex, interactive UI for desktop or other applications, not just websites or simple web interfaces.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of UI architecture, component design, application state management, and interaction patterns.
• Experience creating custom UI components, non-standard interactions, animations, graphics, and visual elements.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance optimization in applications.
• Understanding of UI responsiveness and performance.
• Strong attention to visual details, usability, and interaction quality.
• Ability to work with rapidly changing requirements and learn new technologies when needed.
• Passion for modern AI technologies and interest in AI-powered development tools.
• English — minimum B1; fluent Russian.
• Portfolio or examples of complex interfaces you have developed.

• Experience with Qt / PySide / PyQt.
• Experience with QML / Qt Quick.
• Experience with advanced animations and interactive visual elements.
• Experience with 2D/3D graphics, rendering, visualization, or multimedia.
• Experience integrating design systems or Figma designs into production applications.
• Experience with developer tools, IDEs, editors, creative tools, or AI/LLM-powered applications.
