Job Description / Duties
- Providing a full spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgery services to patients in Windsor and the surrounding catchment area.
- Sharing on-call responsibilities for the region (anticipated 1-in-4 to 1-in-5).
- Collaborating effectively and respectfully with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care in all aspects of your practice.
- Actively contributing to a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment within the division and the hospital.
- Certification in Plastic Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).
- An independent practice license, or eligibility for licensure, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Excellent surgical skills and a dedication to continuous professional development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration.
