You will act as a trusted partner to Project Controls and other Commercial teams, helping to ensure project transparency, reliable forecasting, and data-driven decision-making throughout all project phases. The role combines business process expertise, SAP Project System and other related technical know how, project control methodologies and digital transformation initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyse and customize SAP related project controls processes
- Develop and improve project control processes, related tools, and governance standards
- Support project teams to best execute planning and controlling of Cost, Schedule, Progress, Forecasts
- Design and help maintain management dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions
- Support implementation and optimization of project management and reporting systems
- Coordinate requirements between business stakeholders and IT teams
- Supporting further global SAP S/4HANA transformation and rollout activities
- Organize user training and provide expert support to project teams
Your Profile
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Business Administration
- Finance
- Project Management
- Information Systems
- Or a comparable qualification
- 3 years+ experience in (supporting) Project Controls and SAP Project Systems
- Proven track record in implementing and supporting SAP PS (and the SAP CO integration)
- Experience in EPC, industrial, engineering, construction, or plant projects is advantageous
- Understanding of forecasting, earned value management and project performance measurement
- SAP PS (and CO) configuration and customizing knowledge
- Optional: SAP S/4HANA Project System experience
- Optional: SAP PRM & SAC knowledge
- Preferred: SAP ABAP knowledge / understanding
- Understanding of project accounting and percentage-of-completion concepts
- Experience supporting international project organizations and global rollouts
- Knowledge of digitalization and process automation initiatives is beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
