Responsibilities
Insurance Legal Entity & Governance Support
- Coordinate regular board meetings and shareholder meetings for the insurance legal entity as required.
- Prepare meeting agendas, collect materials, draft meeting minutes, and coordinate review and sign-off by relevant parties.
- Maintain governance records and ensure required documentation is properly retained.
- Act as compliance contact for the insurance business and Product & Marketing team.
- Coordinate and facilitate responses to compliance-related inquiries and internal review requests across insurance and credit card businesses, assess potential business impacts, and support the implementation of required process and policy changes.
- Communicate regulatory and policy updates to relevant stakeholders and support ongoing adherence to company requirements.
- Investigate insurance-related customer complaint cases received from insurance partners or AMEX customer service teams.
- Review relevant sales calls or supporting materials where needed, summarize findings, and align next steps with internal stakeholders and insurance partners.
- Ensure feedback or resolution approach is properly coordinated with the appropriate teams.
- Conduct regular checks or self-assessments to ensure customer data protection mechanisms are in place.
- Coordinate team self-assessment activities, collect required documentation, and respond to MCO or control teams as needed.
- Support remediation follow-up to strengthen internal controls and reduce compliance risk.
- Valid General Insurance Agent License (產險代理人執照) is required.
- 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry; experience in compliance, governance, risk management, or internal control is preferred.
- Solid understanding of local insurance regulations and the regulatory requirements applicable to financial services businesses.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business impacts and manage regulatory and operational priorities independently.
- Experience in customer complaint handling and telemarketing channel oversight is a plus.
- Experience partnering with Compliance, Legal, Risk, MCO, or other governance and control functions is preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence decisions across multiple teams.
