About This Team

The lululemon Localization team leads the organization-wide content translation strategy and localization initiatives, supporting cross-functional partners to drive operational excellence and enable business success across markets.

a day in the life

• Translate and transcreate English content into Taiwan Traditional Chinese, and develop original Taiwan Chinese copy when needed to support a wide range of business needs, including product education, internal training, corporate communications, and marketing initiatives.
• Serve as a key quality owner throughout the proofreading phase of major translation workflows, proactively ensuring linguistic excellence, accuracy, and consistency across all Taiwan Chinese platforms and channels.
• Maintain and continuously optimize language style guides, translation memories (TM), and terminology databases to support scalable and consistent localization delivery.
• Drive quality assurance efforts through regular reviews with translation vendors and freelance linguists. Provide constructive feedback, clarify linguistic guidelines, and foster continuous improvement in translation quality.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with regional stakeholders, including localization team members, storytellers, learning partners, creative teams, and other cross-functional collaborators, to ensure effective and business-aligned localization solutions.

• Native-level proficiency in both Taiwan Traditional Chinese and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Passionate about language and localization, with 8 + years of hands-on experience in translation, transcreation, and copywriting.
• Deep understanding of linguistic and cultural nuances, with the ability to adapt content effectively for different audiences and contexts.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid knowledge of localization technologies, workflows, and industry trends, including hands-on experience with Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools.
• Familiarity with HTML, TXML, and related localization assets is an advantage.

Authorization to work in Taiwan is required for this role.
