Technician -Technical assistant, Accessories

Position Objectives:

Ensure executing Goby sample approval on time and building MK technical standard by developing all accessory vendor samples room technical capability and MK understanding. And mitigating operation risk and building a sustainable technical talent pipeline for the organization.

Responsibilities:

Offshore Sample Management

. Support the intensive training and upskilling of offshore vendor sample rooms to strengthen their technical capabilities.

. Assist in executing Goby sample approvals for offshore facilities, ensuring alignment with MK technical standards and timelines.

. Provide technical support through training and on-site troubleshooting as the primary backup to the Manager, ensuring continuity during peak periods or complex cases.

Workflow Optimization

. Share workload to ensure continuous sample approval progress during the manager’s travel or leave.

. Monitor workflow for products to prevent bottlenecks in the Goby approval process.

Technical Standards Compliance

. Learn and strictly adhere to MK (Michael Kors) construction and quality standards.

. Support to build up technical standards / SOP and align among vendors.

. Support to liaise technical hot spot internally among PD team / material team / technical team / QA team.

. Ensure all samples meet brand specifications before bulk production.

Qualifications

. At least 10 years of accessories Handbag / Wallet manufacturing experience

. Knowledgeable in production processes and best practices

. Knowledgeable in OptiTex operation

. Experience working with vendors in Asia

. Experience with high-end brand desirable

. Ability to communicate across multi-cultural and experience levels, internal & external

. Proven leadership skills and communication skills are the must

. Fluent in English (verbal and written) for cross-border communication.

. Chinese or Vietnamese or other nationality is acceptable; additional languages are a plus
