We are looking for a talented Senior Material Flow Engineering Supervisor l Supervisor de Ingeniería de Flujo de Materiales Senior to join our team specializing in Supply Chain for our Cummins in San Luis Potosí, S.L.P.

Job Summary

Ensure the safe, timely, and accurate supply of materials to production lines , enabling uninterrupted operations while complying with Cummins EMF standards, safety policies, and Lean Material Flow principles. This role leads the line supply team and ensures disciplined execution of standard work, inventory accuracy at point of use, and strong cross-functional coordination.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Ensure timely and accurate material delivery to production lines aligned with the production schedule, preventing shortages and line stoppages.
• Coordinate material priorities based on sequencing changes and production needs, ensuring adherence to replenishment methods (Kanban, Min/Max, Milk Run, PFEP).
• Oversee point-of-use inventory, ensuring proper material identification, FIFO compliance, and accurate replenishment triggers.
• Lead and develop Line Supply teams, ensuring proper staffing, workload balance, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and HSE standards, proactively identifying and addressing risks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material flow, layouts, and operational efficiency (Lean, 5S, Kanban optimization).
• Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams and escalate risks impacting production or safety.

This Role Includes

• Direct supervision of Line Supply / Material Handling associates.
• Interaction with Production, Planning, Engineering, Warehouse, and HSE teams.

Experience
