Description

Leidos is seeking an Application Tester for a technical development program of 200+ FTE supporting the Sponsor’s Attribute/EntitlementServices within the IDAM/ICAM space. The Test Engineer will support the test of access control systems for a government customer. The successful candidate will support continuity of our customer’s mission by helping ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain test plans for web, mobile, and API testing.
  • Execute manual tests to identify defects and report them to the development team
  • Collaborate with developers and QA peers to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities.
  • Contribute to test planning, case design, and documentation.
  • Support the team with User acceptance teams to include roles, test scripts, reporting results and scheduling testing meetings with the UAT users.
  • Familiar with agile methodology and continuous feature testing
  • Stay updated with emerging test automation tools and techniques.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 12+ years of experience.
  • Software professional experience in QA with a focus on automation
  • Strong knowledge of automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#)
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps)
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Automation Testing - Katalon experience
  • Good knowledge of SQL for database testing.
  • Experience with version control (Git).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Pay Range

Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
