- Salary: £50,632 – £57,940 per year (DOE)
- Contract: Full time, permanent
- Reporting to: Service Manager / Director of SALT Social Care
- Professionally Accountable to: Director of SALT Social Care
You will work with patients across our three care pathways at Woodrowe House:
- Slow Stream Rehabilitation: Goal-focused, therapeutically-led placements for people who have stepped down from acute rehabilitation settings.
- Long-term & Maintenance: Packages designed for individuals with progressive or highly dependent needs to prevent deterioration and improve quality of life.
- Short-term Placements: Providing respite care allowing the caregiver to take a much-needed break from their duties, whilst knowing that their loved one is safe and well-supported.
You will be part of a company-wide SLT service and as such will have the opportunity to participate in large-scale projects. You will receive high-quality supervision and be supported with CPD.
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist with:
- A degree / postgraduate diploma (or equivalent) in Speech and Language Therapy, registration with HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) and membership of the RCSLT (Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists)
- Competency to independently assess and manage EDS needs (essential)
- Experience in the field of acquired brain injury, neuroprogressive conditions, spinal injuries, evidenced by high level of clinical SLT knowledge.
- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support with an emphasis on person-centred planning
- Evidence of being a strong team player with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication / time management skills
- Salary between £50,632 – £57,940 per year (DOE)
- Excellent Clinical Supervision, CPD and developmental opportunities for clinical and non-clinical duties
