Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, software engineers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and define test objectives.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, considering functional and non-functional requirements, to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Identify appropriate testing methodologies, tools, and techniques to effectively validate software applications within the fintech domain.
• Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Report and track software defects using defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Communicate test progress, test results, and quality-related metrics to stakeholders, providing insights into software quality and test coverage.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in software quality control, software testing, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools, such as Jera, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies.
• Experience with tools. Understanding of various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and experience in writing automated test scripts. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes.
• Understanding of the fintech industry, its regulations, compliance requirements, and security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset focused on delivering high-quality software solutions.
