Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, software engineers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and define test objectives.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, considering functional and non-functional requirements, to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Identify appropriate testing methodologies, tools, and techniques to effectively validate software applications within the fintech domain.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Report and track software defects using defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and quality-related metrics to stakeholders, providing insights into software quality and test coverage.
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in software quality control, software testing, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools, such as Jera, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies.
- Experience with tools. Understanding of various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and experience in writing automated test scripts. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes.
- Understanding of the fintech industry, its regulations, compliance requirements, and security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
