Role: Business Controller

As a Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the company's journey toward transforming the world through innovation. You will work closely with the Finance and Operations team and report to the VP of Accounting based in Norway. This role is integral to the company's mission of creating an abundant supply of physical labour through safe, intelligent androids that work alongside humans.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the US financial operations, including accounting processes, payroll management, and financial reporting.
• Administer and innovate the employee benefits program, ensuring comprehensive coverage and legal compliance.
• Drive cash flow management and forecasting, identifying trends and setting accurate projections.
• Champion continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and establish best practices.

• Background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Controller or in a similar role, ideally within a technology-driven organization.
• Strong knowledge of financial and administrative management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the strategic goals of the company.
• Good understanding of IT applications and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and be self-driven, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

• Experience working in a company with operations in several states and/or countries.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
