QA Engineer - BitDelta Trading Platform / QA Lead - Trading Systems

Reports To: VP/Engineering or Tech Lead Location: Bangalore or Mumbai (onsite)

Experience: 3-6 years (ideally with trading/fintech testing)

About the Role You own quality for all BitDelta features. You'll design test strategies for trading systems where bugs cost traders money. You'll test order execution, payment processing, real time data accuracy, and regulatory compliance features.

Key Responsibilities

Design comprehensive test strategies for trading features

Test order processing workflows (limit orders, market orders, stop-loss)

Test payment processor integrations (successful/failed transactions)

Test copy trading execution and accuracy

Build and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, E2E)

Perform manual testing for edge cases and trading scenarios

Test real-time data accuracy (prices, positions, balances)

Test KYC/AML workflows and compliance features Performance testing for order latency and throughput

Test across markets (.com crypto, .pro CFDs, .in India-specific)

Build test data fixtures for reproducible testing Report bugs with clear reproduction steps

Create runbooks for manual testing scenarios

Monitor test coverage metrics

Participate in on-call rotation for production issues

Technical Stack

Test Frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright API Testing: Postman, REST Assured

Languages: Python, JavaScript, or Java (for test code) Test Management: TestRail, JIRA CI/CD Integration: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI Performance Testing: JMeter, Locust Monitoring: Log analysis tools (ELK, Datadog)

Required Skills

3-6 years QA experience (manual and/or automation)

Strong test automation with at least one framework

SQL for database testing and data verification

Understanding of trading workflows and order types

Clear bug reporting and documentation

Attention to detail and thoroughness

Understanding of financial and compliance concepts

Comfortable with command line and technical tools

Previous trading platform or fintech QA experience

BDD/Gherkin experience (Cucumber, Behave)

Performance testing experience
