Indexed description
About The Role
As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to rotate throughout our business and gain exposure to underground/surface mining and processing operations – a combination rarely seen on the one lease. The role will see you rotate through various departments including capital projects, asset management and reliability to broaden your understanding of the role that engineers play in the operation and maintenance of critical mining assets. Complex, fast paced problem solving, and on-the-run decision making is balanced with opportunities to think critically and develop long term strategies to engineering problems on site. Australian and site standards, capital budgeting, schedule development, compliance monitoring and maintenance strategies will all become common tools for you to work with while developing relationships with key stakeholders to form a well-rounded approach to engineering. You will have the opportunity to work with leaders in your field at our Mt Isa site (residential only)
