Medical Staff Peer Review Coordinator

Position Summary

The Medical Staff Peer Review Coordinator collects, monitors, and reports the data used for physician and mid-level provider provisional status, reappointment, medical staff departmental review, focused reviews, and scheduled hospital-wide monitoring.

Qualifications

• Education:

Holds a current Texas license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Registered Nurse (RN), Respiratory Therapist or Radiology Technician.

• Training and Experience:
• At least three (3) years in clinical nursing.
• Related performance improvement experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Job Knowledge:
• Familiar with hospital organization and policies and procedures.
• Broad clinical nursing background.
• Able to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing.
