To help achieve our vision of a decarbonised future we are seeking a motivated Buyer / Planner with a strong background in the production or automotive sector to manage purchasing and production planning for our fuel cell components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be involved in implementing our new ERP solution
  • Place, track and expedite purchase orders for materials and components in line with production plans
  • Build and maintain the master production schedule and material requirements plan (MRP)
  • Monitor inventory levels, reorder points and safety stock to avoid line stoppages
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, engineering and warehouse teams on demand and priorities
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times and delivery terms with suppliers
  • Track supplier performance (OTD, quality) and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate item, BOM and supplier data in the ERP system

Skills and Experience Required:

  • BSc/MSc level in engineering is mandatory.
  • Understanding of CNC, machining, coating, 3D-Printing, forging, injection moulding, etc
  • Minimum 3–4 years of buying and/or production planning experience in an engineering field
  • Proven experience in full-lifecycle Purchase Order (PO) creation, placement, tracking, and reconciliation
  • Direct experience managing import/export logistics, customs documentation, and international shipping of goods
  • Experience with commodities, injected plastics, stamped metals, castings, and PCBAs in a low/high-volume, high-mix environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP software is mandatory
  • Strong numeracy, planning, and negotiation skills
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent spoken and written English/French is mandatory; German or another language is a plus
