How You'll Contribute
You will provide direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Meets the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families. Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
Essential Functions
- Performs duties as assigned and requested.
- Completes focused patient assessments and reassessments based on patient's condition, procedures, medications, and treatments.
- Adequately assesses and reassesses pain; utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.
- Provides patient care and communicates effectively with patients of all ages and with specific needs.
- Demonstrates knowledge of medications and ensures correct administration following the six rights to minimize medication errors.
- Assists physicians with procedures and provides services requiring technical and manual skills.
- Performs treatments and delivers care within licensure scope.
- Ensures patient safety by performing all aspects of care in an environment that reduces the likelihood of errors.
- This position will take call.
- $10,000 - $20,000 Commitment-incentive bonus based on experience
- $2.25 - $4.50 Shift differential

- BLS, ACLS, TNCC required
- 1 year of experience required
