Qualifications
- University Degree from a recognized University, preferably in Marketing and Advertising.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the advertising or FMCG industry.
- Must have a favourable understanding of the advertising or the FMCG industry.
- Computer Literate – Advanced PowerPoint & Excel
- Previous client services liaison experience is an added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
Advertising Sales and Production Sales
- Manage individual client portfolios proactively to ensure renewals and growth in business.
- Identifying new clients and generating advertising spend for JCDecaux, growing the client base and market share. Driving new business to surpass individual targets for revenue, profitability, and sustainable long-term sales growth.
- Achieve / Exceed Monthly, Quarterly and Annual targets.
- Effectively compile and deliver presentations and Site Tours
- To work internally, promoting sales in eSwatini through the Africa Sales Team in South Africa.
- To actively drive sales and manage the full sales function to meet the annual revenue budget. Preparation of forecasts and sales reports.
- Manage rate negotiation.
- Complete all contracts and relevant administrative documentation timeously.
- Identify new areas of development to ensure client demand is satisfied.
Relationship Management
- Proactive with external and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent Customer Service throughout the sales process and after sales, building loyalty.
- Responsible for resolving customer queries and complaints.
- Ensuring assets are in top quality and consistently report any issues.
- Ensure all countrywide/long-term sales agreements are proactively managed to ensure renewal and growth.
- Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market, including internal/external marketing/network/PR opportunities.
Administration
- Managing Sales and Contract administration with accuracy.
- Delivery of accurate and timeous reports to Management.
- Provide dated photo checks to clients monthly for the duration of their contract.
- Assist with debt collection and support the debtor’s team whenever needed.
- Assist in identifying and compiling tenders.
- Use of JCDecaux internal asset management tools
- Actively track sales movements of competitor products and marketing activities through market intelligence and report to the Country Manager
- Work within the JCDecaux Limits of Authority when negotiating discounts and Added value

- Must have good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Must promote the company image and always retain confidentiality.
- Highly organized and able to multitask with excellent time management
- A decision-maker with the ability to work under pressure without close supervision in a competitive environment.
- Must be a mature and passionate sales individual driven by results.
- Must be hands-on and have the ability and demeanour to interact with clients at all levels, one-on-one and in group meetings.
