The TRRC Country Manager is responsible for leading and managing The Renewable Resources Company's operations in Eswatini. The role focuses on growing the business, delivering projects successfully, maintaining strong customer relationships, developing the local team, and ensuring the branch operates safely, efficiently, and profitably. The Country Manager reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and represents TRRC professionally throughout Eswatini.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Eswatini branch.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Oversee the successful delivery of all projects and service contracts.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Eswatini team.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Monitor branch finances, expenses, and overall profitability.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local legislation.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, quality, and professionalism.
- Represent TRRC in meetings with clients, suppliers, utilities, and government stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Executive Team to achieve the company's strategic objectives.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the solar and renewable energy industry.
- Proven ability to solve both technical and administrative challenges effectively.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to work with business management software.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Sales and business development experience with the ability to identify and secure new opportunities for the Eswatini branch.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while working independently.
- A valid driver's licence.
- TRRC will provide the successful candidate with the necessary Eswatini work permit where applicable for candidates relocating from outside Eswatini.
- A company vehicle will be provided for business use.
- Company accommodation will be provided as part of the employment package.
- The successful candidate will receive ongoing support, training, and development to assist in growing the Eswatini operation and advancing their career within TRRC.
- The Country Manager is expected to lead by example, uphold TRRC's values, and build a motivated, high-performing team that delivers exceptional service while driving the continued growth of the Eswatini business.
