ABOUT THE POSITION
COROS is growing its team and looking for a UK Operations Manager based in the UK. This individual contributor position plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient and high-quality operational support for our global team. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise, hands-on experience in UK logistics, the ability to collaborate across international teams and timezones and will speak Madarin Chinese fluently.
YOUR PLAYGROUND
- Manage 2B order processing from creation to fulfillment to ensure timely and secure deliveries, and be the main in-house contact point for our 2B customers.
- Manage the implementation of third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships for warehouses within the UK, including process integration.
- Continuously improve UK logistics and warehouse operations by monitoring performance and refining processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments and inventory management.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges such as inventory discrepancies and shipping delays, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
- Analyze logistics and operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other teams such as sales, customer service, and supply chain teams as well as our Chinese headquarter and global business headquarter in the USA to align operations with business needs.
- Provide data insights and reports on UK logistics and warehouse performance to support decision-making.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE STARTING LINE
Professional Background
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations, order fulfillment, or supply chain within the UK market, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field preferred.
- Key competencies: Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to solve complex operational challenges independently and communicate clearly and concisely.
- Operational skills: Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of translating operational data into practical process improvements.
Other Key Requirements
- Language: Fluency in Business English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) to support close communication with our headquarters in China.
- Brand fit: Sports enthusiasm and genuine excitement to help us elevate sports performance for everyday and elite athletes through technology.
- Team spirit: A strong team player with a high sense of responsibility and willingness to support colleagues when needed.
- Working time flexibility: The willingness to attend occiasional early morning or late afternoon meetings that come with our global setup and coordinating projects across different time zones.
THE SETUP
- Reporting Line: Country Manager UK
- Location: Onsite with some hybrid flexibility, within a reasonable daily commuting distance of our Skipton office, extending as far as Manchester. Locations along the Manchester–Skipton corridor are also considered.
- Working Mode: Full-time, flexible working hours with occasional early morning or late afternoon calls.
