Project Manager / Operations Coordinator
Indexed description
In this role, you'll start with a hybrid focus - gaining hands-on experience across both software project coordination and application support operations. As you settle in and get familiar with our software products and client ecosystem, this role offers a clear path to specialize and grow into either a Technical Delivery PM or a Support & Operations Lead.
If you enjoy connecting technical teams with business requirements, keeping operations structured, and building strong customer relationships, this is a great entry point with real long-term growth.
What You'll Do
- Project & Implementation Coordination: Support day-to-day project workflows alongside Technical Team Leads, ensuring project plans, tasks, and deliverables stay structured and on schedule.
- Support & Operations Assistance: Help coordinate our application support / help desk workflow - tracking incoming tickets, prioritizing issues, and staying aligned with SLA targets.
- Timeline & Risk Tracking: Monitor delivery milestones, spot potential resource overlaps, and flag operational risks early to keep teams on track.
- Customer & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a dependable daily contact for customer inquiries, translating client expectations into clear internal tasks.
- Documentation & PMO Standards: Prepare and maintain project and operational documentation, ensuring version control and consistency per internal PMO and client standards.
- Resource & Capacity Management: Help map team availability, identify bottlenecks, and resolve scheduling conflicts before they impact delivery.
- Reporting: Draft clear, concise status updates and reports for stakeholders, management, and clients.
- Experience: 2+ years in project coordination, software delivery support, technical support leadership, or a similar operational IT role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience in software environments).
- Technical & Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and core application support/ITSM concepts.
- Tooling: Comfortable with Jira and standard ticketing or project management tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and traditional project management frameworks.
- Certifications like Scrum Master (PSM I/CSM), Product Owner (PSPO I/CSPO), ITIL Foundations, PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM are a strong plus, but not required.
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills - you are naturally the person who connects the dots between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Comfortable being the daily go-to contact for customer inquiries and problem-solving.
- Strong organizational instincts with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the details.
- Love connecting the dots: You enjoy solving operational challenges and bridging technical teams with business needs.
- Take ownership: You work independently, stay accountable, and drive tasks forward without needing constant oversight.
- Are highly organized: You know how to prioritize on the fly and manage time efficiently.
- Communicate with empathy & clarity: You build trust easily with customers and keep everyone aligned.
- Are adaptable & curious: You thrive across both delivery and support, always eager to learn new systems and processes.
- Full-time role in a stable, established, and growing tech company.
- Clear career evolution path based on your strengths and initiative.
- Fully covered training and professional certification opportunities.
- Private medical insurance.
- A supportive environment working directly with experienced Tech Leads and Engineering Managers.
