Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks covering unit, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
  • Conduct thorough manual and exploratory testing across web, desktop, and gaming platforms.
  • Define and own QA processes, test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and severity assessments.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality feedback.
  • Perform API testing, performance testing, and load testing as required.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to shift quality left and catch issues early in the development cycle.
  • Contribute to test strategy decisions and help establish quality standards across the organization.
  • Monitor production systems and assist in triaging and reproducing live issues.
  • Maintain and improve test coverage metrics and quality dashboards.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in both manual testing and test automation.
  • Proficiency with at least one automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
  • Experience writing automated tests in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or another scripting language.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies: unit, integration, E2E, regression, smoke, and exploratory.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into automated workflows (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Ability to read and understand application code to write meaningful tests and identify edge cases.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with developers, designers, and product managers.
  • Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Linear.

Nice to Have

  • Experience testing game clients, game backends, or simulation software.
  • Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as k6, Locust, or JMeter.
  • Exposure to security testing or penetration testing basics.
  • Experience with visual regression testing tools.
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing standards and tooling.
  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) for test infrastructure.
