Make a Global impact with ASC - Setting the Standard for Seafood
ASC International - Aquaculture Stewardship Council is an independent, non-profit organisation, originally founded by WWF in 2010. We are committed to continuous improvement of global seafood farming practices towards environmental and social sustainability.
Why this role?
As ASC’s Traceability Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting the effective implementation and ongoing operation of ASC’s TraceASC programme.
This role provides operational and administrative support across participant onboarding, user assistance and data quality monitoring. You will work closely with internal teams including Market Development, Assurance and IT to help ensure a smooth user experience, effective use of the TraceASC system and strong data integrity.
You will interact with a diverse range of global supply chain partners, including farms, processors, traders, importers and retailers. You will help guide participants through onboarding, respond to routine queries, monitor data submissions and ensure TraceASC processes are implemented accurately and on time.
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and detail-focused, with a supportive approach to working with users. If you enjoy helping people navigate processes, solving problems and ensuring information is accurate and well managed, then we want to hear from you!
The role is Europe based, however other locations may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Manage participant onboarding, including sending invitations, tracking responses, issuing follow-up reminders and ensuring the timely submission of required information.
- Support and participate in training sessions, helping users understand TraceASC processes and how to use relevant systems.
- Provide first-line user support by monitoring the support inbox, responding to routine queries, resolving basic issues and escalating complex or technical matters to the Traceability Manager or relevant teams.
- Gather feedback, questions and suggestions from users during onboarding and support interactions, sharing insights with the Traceability Manager to help inform system, process and training improvements.
- Review participant data submissions for completeness, consistency and compliance with defined requirements, following up where corrections, updates or additional information are required.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of established data quality processes, including helping to update guidance materials and documented procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organised records relating to participant onboarding, support interactions and data submissions.
- Handle participant information responsibly, maintaining confidentiality and data integrity in line with ASC policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Market Development, Assurance, IT and other teams to support an effective and consistent TraceASC user experience.
Profile:
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish; additional languages are an advantage.
- General knowledge or experience in commodities supply chains and traceability. Seafood traceability specific experience is a plus.
- Comfortable using digital tools, with good proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Experience working with digital systems, data entry tools, or basic quality control processes, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer service mindset, with experience in user support, helpdesk or other service‑oriented roles, and the ability to support training sessions or guide users through new processes.
