Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager, Group Risk & Quality, supports the implementation and coordination of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and quality initiatives across Sunway Healthcare Group. This role assists in ensuring compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and patient safety standards across non-hospital healthcare operations, including Home Healthcare, Traditional & Complementary Medicine, and Fertility services.


The incumbent is responsible for coordinating audits, monitoring quality improvement initiatives, supporting data analysis, and facilitating policy management processes. The role works closely with stakeholders to ensure timely reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement, while providing operational support during audits and surveys.


Key Responsibilities

  • Risk Management: Support maintenance of the risk register, coordinate risk reporting submissions, and assist in preparing materials for Risk Review meetings and committee reporting.
  • Accreditation & Audits: Coordinate accreditation activities, track compliance with regulatory standards, and monitor progress of corrective action plans.
  • Quality Improvement: Support patient safety and quality initiatives, including reporting, awareness activities, and monitoring of improvement metrics.
  • Policy Management: Coordinate policy review cycles, ensure timely updates, and perform basic quality checks for consistency and compliance.
  • Incident Reporting: Track and follow up on incident investigations, and compile monthly reports for management review.
  • Performance Monitoring: Assist in compiling and tracking performance indicators, and support stakeholders in data reporting and analysis.


Who We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare risk, quality, or compliance.
  • Basic understanding of Enterprise Risk Management and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail with good proofreading and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards is an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently with guidance and manage multiple tasks within timelines.
  • An analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
