Bluebird Care is looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our team in Kilkenny, Ireland.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. You will play an important role in promoting their independence, dignity, comfort and overall wellbeing while delivering care in line with their individual care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities in clients' own homes.
• Follow and implement individual client care plans.
• Support clients with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Promote clients' comfort, independence and wellbeing.
• Complete care duties in accordance with company policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Build positive and professional relationships with clients and their families.
• Maintain a high standard of care at all times.

• Minimum 2 years' professional healthcare experience.
• A recognised healthcare qualification equivalent to QQI Healthcare Support.
• A full EU driving licence and confidence driving in Ireland.
• A valid EU passport.
• Fluent spoken, listening and written English.
• A caring, professional and dependable approach to client care.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

• Salary: €33,500 per annum
• Full-time, 2-year contract
• 40 hours per week
• Working pattern of 6 days over 7
• 20 days paid annual leave
• Company transport provided
• Relocation support, including flight and accommodation assistance.
• Up to 3 months' accommodation provided, with the first month's accommodation and deposit covered.
• All other standard company benefits.
