Freelance Project Manager | BESS | Hamburg
I'm currently supporting a leading renewable energy client who is looking to engage an experienced BESS Project Manager for a 12-month freelance contract based in Hamburg.
The role will see you taking ownership of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects from development through to delivery, working closely with engineering, construction, grid connection and stakeholder teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Contract Details:
- Location: Hamburg (hybrid/site-based)
- Contract Length: 12 Months
- Start Date: ASAP
- Competitive daily rate
Key requirements:
- Proven experience managing utility-scale BESS projects
- Strong understanding of project delivery, construction and commissioning phases
- Experience managing contractors, budgets and project schedules
- Knowledge of German regulations and grid connection processes is highly desirable
- Fluent German and English preferred
