Join our team as a Quality Assurance Consultant (f/m/d) – either on-site/hybrid at our locations in Sofia, Plovdiv or Varna, or flexibly remote from within Bulgaria.

You will help our clients ship secure, reliable Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions with confidence. You will own the quality of complex integration projects – designing test strategies, building automated test suites, and embedding quality practices into fast-moving delivery teams. You will work primarily with modern test-automation tooling, ideally TypeScript and Playwright, to create maintainable end-to-end and API test coverage across web applications and IAM platforms.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design test strategies: define and own the test approach for client projects, from test planning through execution and reporting.
• Build test automation: develop and maintain robust automated test suites – primarily end-to-end and API tests – ideally using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Integrate into CI/CD: embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so quality gates run continuously and reliably.
• Test IAM solutions: validate authentication, authorisation, single sign-on (SSO), and identity flows across web and service layers.
• Investigate & report: analyse failures, raise clear, reproducible defects, and communicate quality status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Champion quality: coach delivery teams on testing best practice, shift-left principles, and maintainable automation.

Your Experience:

• 3–5 years QA experience - solid background in software testing and test automation.
• Test automation - ability to build and maintain automated tests; TypeScript & Playwright preferred.
• Programming basics - confident with JavaScript/TypeScript and Git.
• CI/CD - experience integrating tests into pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• API testing - strong REST API testing skills; good understanding of HTTP/JSON.
• Consulting mindset - clear communication, client-facing confidence, structured and independent work style.
• Languages - fluent English; German is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• IAM testing - experience with Okta, ForgeRock/Ping, Keycloak, Entra ID.
• Auth standards - OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML.
• Performance/security testing - e.g., k6, JMeter, OWASP ZAP.
• ISTQB - certification or equivalent.
• Containers - experience with Docker/Kubernetes.

Salary Band:

For this role we can offer €30,000 – €38,000 gross annual salary (full-time).
