Your Role And Responsibilities
We are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer in order to strengthen our Quality team. You will support the deployment of the Quality strategy, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and even exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response and sustainable solution to problems. Collaborate with of local functions that impact on the quality results in order to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aiming for world-class level performance.
The work model for the role is onsite.
This role is contributing to the Smart Power Business Area.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- You will be the key actor in the management of non-conformity incidents, for this reason you will cooperate closely with other business functions and suppliers
- You will act as point of reference for Customers in the management of the non-conformities
- You will act as point of reference for Customers during the process audits/visits to ensure the compliance of working practice and procedures
- You will be responsible to manage all quality data in an accurate way in order to better understand the status quo and prevent future non-conformities as continuous improvement
Qualifications For The Role
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electrical quality control or testing environment, assembly and testing of low-voltage products or similar electrical equipment
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- You are at ease communicating in English
- You are qualified in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and ERP systems
- Knowledge of busbar systems, electrical connections, and insulation testing. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with IEC standards and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) procedures
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to think critically, adapt to change, and work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
