SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The primary purpose of Treasury Assistant position is to ensure all payments received by each Penn State Health entity are deposited accurately into the appropriate financial institution and related account, batched and reconciled in our internal system, and communicated to appropriate departments. Treasury Assistant III employees are proficient in completing Level I and II assignments. They regularly work on varied and complex tasks. They are able to apply many specialized skills and adapt frequently to new procedures, techniques and tools. Originality and creativity are required as they are often asked to help establish procedures in our processing areas and also document them. They are able to use financial institution online banking platforms to pull daily data about received payments and upload them to various databases and accounting software. After they upload the data, by using tools like Excel and Adobe they prepare daily reports for the team to work on.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience (4 years)
- At least three (3) years of Account Receivable and Cash Reconciliation experience required
