Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including sales, service, distributor, sales agent agreements
• Ensure contracts comply with all relevant policies and procedures
• Coordinate with internal departments (Sales Operations, Finance, etc) on contract issues
• Support the compliance function, including anti-bribery and interactions with healthcare professionals, as well as transparency and anti-gift regulations
• Support third-party intermediary management and due diligence
• Maintain and update legal department templates as needed
• Provide support to Associate General Counsel on a variety of projects as needed

• Swiss law degree
• Admission to the Swiss bar or equivalent preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in-house, law firm or mix
• Solid experience in contract law
• Business-oriented person, with ability to work and coordinate projects with other departments
• Ability to prioritize and work independently under tight deadlines
• Exceptional attitude, strong work ethics and team player
• Fluency in English and either French or German (written and oral) required
• Detail orientated with strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining high quality and performance under pressure
• In-house legal experience within a global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare organization preferred
• Experience in any of the following subject matters a plus (but not required):
• Data privacy
• Labor laws
• Healthcare compliance
