Job Duties:Performs highly complex inventory and retail sales work in a unit commissary. Work involves stocking, arranging, and transferring inventory; displaying and selling merchandise; ensuring compliance with established security requirements, loss prevention controls, and procedures; and providing guidance to others. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.You'd be a GOOD fit if:You have experience managing inventory, receiving, and selling products, and can maintain accurate records while reconciling discrepancies. Youre able to learn commissary operations, policies, procedures, and security requirements, and you work in an organized, dependable manner while prioritizing multiple tasks in a correctional environment. You communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and incarcerated individuals, use inventory, financial, and computer systems confidently, and follow established procedures for receiving, selling, delivering, and accounting for inventoryall of which support success in this position.You'd be a GREAT fit if:You have solid experience in inventory management or commissary operations and consistently identify and resolve discrepancies before they escalate. You understand the importance of accuracy, accountability, security, and customer service in a unit commissary and can independently manage daily operations while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
